->>> Nazareth (Part 2) About 1 years have passed since the birth of Jesus they are still in Bethlehem. God's plan continues with the visit of the Magi from the east. Where exactly they came from in the east or how many there were we don't know. We do know their arrival in Bethlehem caused quit a stir. It created a stir because Herod was upset that a rival king was born. He instructed the Magi to search for the baby and when they found him to come back and let him know where he was so that he could go and worship him. Of course this was false. When the Magi found the child they presented him with gifts of Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. The Magi were warned in a dream not to return to Herod, so they left for home another way. Shortly thereafter, maybe just one night Joseph was warned to in dream to take the child and his mother to Egypt. He obeyed and they headed for Egypt. After the death of Herod, about three years, Joseph was told in a dream to return to Israel. Upon return and hearing who was reigning in place of Herod he was afraid. God again told him in a dream to go to the area of Galilee. He went and ended up living in Nazareth; the town they were living in when Mary was great with child and they had to go to Bethlehem to be registered, or as we would say a census.
