Resurrection

I Corinthians 15:1-58

The resurrection is a cornerstone of the Christian Faith.  Like a linchpin, if the resurrection had not occurred, the Apostle Paul says that all his preaching would have been in vain.  But, Christ having been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have died,  it is an assurance that we to shall be raised from the dead.

We are born in corruption, or a natural body that will decay.  We will be raised incorruptible, or a spiritual body the will not decay.  When the end is imminent the last enemy to be destroyed is death.

For the one who has been born again they will be raised from the dead to forever be with the Lord in heaven.  For those who have not been born again they will be raised from the dead to spent an eternity hell.

Reminds me of the phrase -

Born twice die once
Born once die twice
