Strong
and Courageous
Deuteronomy
31:1-8, Esther
1-7
Esther was
an orphan girl who's parents had died. Mordecai took her and raised
her as his own daughter. Through a series of events Esther became
queen to King Ahasuerus who reigned over 127 provinces from India to
Ethiopia. Esther did not reveal she was Jewish. In the process
of time the king elevated a man by the name of Haman over other
officials. Haman became furious because Mordecai would not bow down
to him when he pasted by. Haman developed a plot to have all the
Jews in the kingdom killed. Mordecai eventually learned of the plot
and eventually Esther the queen.
