Eternity

Ecclesiastes 3:11, Isaiah 57:15, Luke 16:19-31

The word 'eternity' does not appear very often in the scripture.  The concept however, appears often with words such as 'eternal' or 'everlasting'.  Ecclesiastes 3:11 makes it clear that God has put in our heart to think about our past before our birth, and our future beyond our death.

We learn in Luke 16, among our scriptures, that after death there two possibilities.  In the case of Lazarus he was taken to a place of bliss.  In the case of the rich man he was taken to a place of torment.  In each of the cases the place is final; either eternal bliss forever or eternal torment forever.  The future is and choice is yours.  Accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life, then your eternal future will be blissful.
