1st Person of the Trinity Today's message focuses on God and His relationship to man. God created man in His image. Man's purpose was to keep the garden. God also placed in the garden the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God observed that it was not good for man to be alone. Therefore, God took from the Adam, the man He created, a rib and made women. When God presented the women to Adam, he said this is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called women. Man is so much different from the rest of creation. God who is a God of purpose relates to a people of promise. Because of the fall, mankind has a sin problem. We like Israel and all mankind because of sin have the problem of idolatry. When man is in trouble we may call on Him and He will answer. It may not be the answer we want but He will answer. God is always working to bring people into fellowship with Him. The God of the Bible is loving and forgiving.
